Wedding Chapels in Las Vegas

I’m shooting some of the wedding chapels of Las Vegas for wedding dress shop owner and friend Diane Schiller.
Here’s a couple shots from last week.
Giant thank yous to my couple, the beautiful and gracious Constance and Brandon. Huge props, too, to the talent of Mark & James at the Glam Squad for hair, makeup and [...]

Cover & Headshots for Las Vegas Woman Magazine, Fall Issue

I’m posting some of the work I recently shot for Las Vegas Woman Magazine, including the final cover photo, some of the inside headshots of different docs around time, and even some of the outtakes. Great after-wedding trash the dress by my friend Chelsea Nicole

Chelsea & Jayse are two of the hottest photographers – and coolest people – in Vegas – they work all over the world, and they are in very high demand. Occasionally, when they are already booked, I have been honored to receive referrals from them.
I am happy to link to one of their recent trash-the-dress [...]

As all of you small business owners already know, there really is no quitting time; there is so much work to do that the work is never done. So – if you ever want to spend time with your family – sometimes you just have to draw a line in the sand, drop everything, and [...]

Old Time Desert Doctors – A Cover Shoot

We had a really good time yesterday shooting down in Nelson, NV for the cover shot of a Las Vegas magazine.
Adrienne is a great model! Jennifer was the Woman Of Many Hats – in addition to being editor of the magazine, she took care of everything that needed taking care of: hair, makeup, schlepping, food, [...]

Email Newlsetter Systems

Looking into a replacement for iContact – who do not like the (legally-acquired) email lists I am using. Someone suggested Campaign Monitor out of Australia. I’m checking out!

#10. Never Go Full Retard. Go Easy on the Photoshop.

That jarring headline is a quote from “Tropic Thunder”, where Robert Downey Jr.’s character advises Ben Stiller’s character to pull it back, never go all the way.

Tropic Thunder : Film Clip – Nobody Goes Full Retard – watch more funny videos
Throttle back your Photoshop effects. Or better, use none at all. Photoshop actions can be [...]
